Fairino WML Series – Extended-Reach Collaborative Robots for Large-Scale Automation

The Fairino WML Series is a specialized line of 6-axis collaborative robots designed for applications that require an extended working range while maintaining the safety, flexibility, and ease of use of collaborative automation.

Compared to standard Fairino cobots, WML models offer significantly longer reach and enhanced wrist rotation, making them ideal for larger work areas, machine tending, welding, assembly, and material handling applications.

The WML family is currently available in payload capacities of 3 kg and 5 kg. The FR3-WML combines a 3 kg payload with an extended reach of up to 922 mm, while the FR5-WML provides a 5 kg payload and an impressive reach of up to 1,900 mm, allowing a single robot to cover larger workspaces and multiple stations without repositioning.

The robots support TCP/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and optional industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, and CC-Link. Programming is supported through C#, C++, Python, ROS, and ROS2 environments.
